Ethical Fashion Company Opens First Storefront in Near Southside
Jun 11, 2018
Tribe Alive, a Fort Worth-based ethical fashion company with a mission to alleviate poverty among women, opened their first retail location in the new 1455 W. Magnolia building in May.
The front half of the shop features a retail space where customers can browse products and shop current designs. The back half, the design studio, features a unique space that invites customers to take a look into where the team works, the design process, communication with artisans, and experience the full lifeline of a product.
Tribe Alive designs everything in house and sources each design through different non-profit production houses all over the world. The storefront allows founder and CEO Carly Burson to educate shoppers on ethical fashion and the movement towards sustainability.
The storefront also plans to host a variety of events including yoga classes, watercolor demonstrations, and succulent arranging workshops.
