Funky Picnic Signs Lease at 401 Bryan Avenue

Jun 13, 2018

Funky Picnic Brewery & Café recently announced that they’ll be opening their doors in spring 2019 in the 401 Bryan Avenue building in South Main Village. Funky Picnic will be brewing traditional and specialty beers in a restaurant-café that also offers appetizers, artisan sandwiches, desserts, and kid-friendly food and drink options.

Founded by a group of friends that started out brewing beer in a garage, Funky Picnic is the culmination of a lot of hard work and a dream. In addition to traditional styles like Hefeweizens and IPAs, Funky Picnic will provide a rotating selection of already proven favorites and new recipes, such as a chocolate peanut butter stout (Two Peanut Butters, One Cup), imperial saison with prickly pear and peppercorn (Border Disorder), and a double IPA made with five different varieties of chilé peppers (Superfreaker).

Funky Picnic is being spear-headed by Samantha Glenn and Collin Zreet, with support from Jenni Hanley and John Koch.
