Taste Community Restaurant Receives National Recognition
Jan 10, 2019
Congrats to our friends at Taste Project! They were recently named to Yelp's list of the Top 100 Places to Eat for 2019. Taste Community Restaurant came in at #74 on the list, which includes restaurants from across the country and is based on Yelp reviews.
Taste is Fort Worth's first and only non-profit pay-what-you-can restaurant, and they just celebrated their one year anniversary in December. Everyone in the community, regardless of financial means, can enjoy a healthy, high quality meal here. The menu has no prices - guests are simply asked to:
- Pay what you can afford;
- Pay what you would typically pay; or
- Pay what you would typically pay, plus a little extra to help a neighbor in need.
Taste Project’s Taste Community Restaurant is open for lunch from 11:00am – 2:00pm, Tuesdays – Sundays (closed on Mondays). Visit Taste at 1200 S. Main Street.
