The 320-space public parking garage on Alston Avenue provides convenient, covered, and free parking for visitors to Magnolia destinations. To increase awareness of the garage – particularly among nighttime and weekend visitors – NSI installed street banners and distributed publicity materials to neighboring businesses. NSI will continue working with Fairmount residents, local business owners, and the City to promote a holistic parking management program that fully utilizes existing on- and offstreet spaces, so as to minimize the size and impact of future lots and garages.
